Sim, é possível fazer uma versão de Baileys em casa e é ridiculamente fácil e fica perigosamente delicioso.

Aqui em casa temos bebido cada vez menos. Fomos reduzindo, reduzindo, reduzindo, e de uns tempos pra cá me dei conta de que nosso bar estava ficando um pouco estagnado, algumas bebidas estavam, sejamos sinceros, totalmente encalhadas. Fiz uma nota mental de começar a usar mais birita na hora de cozinhar.

Olhei pra uma garrafa de whisky quase inteira lá, fazendo aniversário já, e lembrei que tinha visto alguma vez uma receita de Baileys caseiro e pensei, tá parado aí mesmo, se der ruim não vamos exatamente sentir falta de ter usado uma quantidade generosa daquela garrafa. Simbora.

Revisei a receita. Dei uma risadinha. Se isso ficar bom vai ser ridículo demais. Só juntar uns pouquíssimos ingredientes e misturar. É isso mesmo??

É. É isso mesmo.

Fiz a misturinha. Dei um gole e falei ‘eita lasqueira’. Tá bonzão. Coloquei um gelinho no copo, mais um pouco, outro gole. Eita eita que perigo. Tá bom demais isso.

Coloquei na garrafinha, guardei na geladeira e esperei o fim de semana quando os amigos vieram almoçar. Distribuí copinhos para todo mundo provar e ver se a galera confirmava e foi aquele eita pra lá, eita pra cá generalizado. Todo mundo pirou.

É. Foi mal aê Baileys – talvez eu nunca mais compre uma garrafa, porque sinceramente, ficou muito delícia demais meu licor cremoso caseiro de whisky.

Ingredients

  • 1 xícara (235ml) de whisky como qualquer coisa com bebida – use um de boa qualidade. sim, você vai misturar com leite condensado e creme de leite, mas a ressaca será a mesma ;) opte por whiskys menos defumados – se for irlandês melhor ainda
  • 1 lata de leite condensado
  • 1 xícara (235ml) de creme de leite de preferência fresco
  • 1 colher de chá cacau
  • 1/2 colher de chá de extrato de baunilha

Instructions

  • Misture tudo e pronto. :) Guarde na geladeira e consuma idealmente em até umas 2 semanas (mas não vai durar isso tudo :P ) – se quiser que fique mais forte, acrescente mais whisky – menos doce, diminua um pouco o leite condensado
  • p.s. ficaram uns gruminhos no meu porque meu creme de leite fresco estava super grosso – poderia ter peneirado pra tirar, mas não me incomodou. Se acontecer com você e te incomodar, é só passar por uma peneira fina.
